Dennis set for Leeds return?

The Dutch striker has been out for six weeks with an Achilles tendon injury, but is back in training ahead of the Highbury clash.

The Gunners know the encounter with Leeds is vital in the battle to secure runners-up spot in the Premiership and an automatic place in next season's Champions' League.

The Yorkshire side are hot on Arsenal's heels and Bergkamp's return would be a massive boost as the season comes to a dramatic conclusion, especially with Kanu and Lauren on international duty next weekend.

"Dennis has been doing light training and I hope he will return to full training with the rest of the squad on Wednesday," revealed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

"If everything goes well then he could play against Leeds on Saturday, especially with Kanu away with Nigeria.

"Kanu looked sharp and motivated against Derby, as did Lauren, so it is a blow to lose them.

"But we can't keep them if they are called up, we have to let them go.

"We know we have a big two weeks coming up with the game against Leeds and then the FA Cup Final against Liverpool," Wenger added.

"Our win against Derby was very important because it gives us the feeling we want going into a very decisive match against Leeds. Losing would have put us in a bad psychological position.

"We have to concentrate and play well now. Our next two games will define our season."
