Arsenal too big for Spurs, says Bergkamp
from skysports.com

Dennis Bergkamp has stoked up Saturday's north London derby by claiming Arsenal are too big to worry about playing Spurs.

Games between the two clubs are usually highly charged occasions and this match promises to be no different with Sol Campbell expected to play for the Gunners.

Campbell infuriated the White Hart Lane fans when he joined Arsenal in the summer and will face a ferocious reception on his return.

But Bergkamp feels Arsenal should be more concerned with Europe than with derby rivalries.

Bergkamp said: "I understand that fans feel intense loyalty to their team and this one of the beauties of football.

"But the Spurs fans have to accept that he's changed clubs and now he is one of ours - an Arsenal man.

"I've heard the Spurs fans are planning a gesture of contempt. But I think you have to realise that Arsenal are a European club and that the north London issue is less and less important to us."
