Arsène Wenger will be offering Dennis Bergkamp another year's contract and hopes that the Dutchman will finish his career at Highbury.

The striker, who was signed from Inter Milan in 1995, will be out of contract in the summer. But the Arsenal manager is hoping to tie-up a new deal for next season.

"I have already made up my mind," said Wenger.

"He is a fantastic player and always gives his best. So I want Dennis to stay here for another year and finish his career here. He said he wants to stays as well."
